About me

My name is Philipp Erdin. I trained as a teacher (yes, with an old-fashioned teaching diploma) and as a certified audio engineer. Until the age of 21 I was on stage myself, playing bass and keys – around 200 concerts. Then I switched sides: from the spotlight to the mixing desk. Over the past 30 years, some 2000 live events have come together there.

Today I write and produce as an independent music producer for artists and bands – with commitment and care. Stylistically, I feel at home between singer/songwriter and acoustic pop.

Real instruments are my passion. Our studio holds a grand piano, a Rhodes 73 and a Wurlitzer A200 – and even a Hammond A100 with a Leslie.

My goal: to uncover the core of your music, free your ideas from ballast and sharpen the profile of your art – as far as you want me to, always with the bigger picture in mind. Whatever I offer you takes shape in dialogue: we work it out together, and I realise it with care.

Let’s talk. Then let’s make music.

Nothing quite fits? Every project is different – tell me what you have in mind, we’ll find the right format.
